Players Short Listed for Olympics

Nepal Olympic Committee has released the names of potential players from Nepal who could participate in the 2012 London Olympic games. President of the Nepal Olympic Committee Dhurva Bahadur Pradhan made public the names of players at a program organized at Satdobato today. The names of 11 players who are trying to make entry into the Olympics through wild card entries were also made public today. The players are Purna Bahadur Lama in Boxing, Sanju Lama and Saraswati Rana in Women's category of the same, Ayesha Shaykya and Rohit Tamang in Taekwondo Women and Men events respectively, Sneha Rajyalaxmi Rana and Asmita Rai in Shooting, Dipak Krishna Shrestha and Fupu Lhamu Khatri in Judo Men and Women events respectively. Likewise, Ajay Pandit Chhetri and Nirjala Tamrakar have also got wild card entries in the Cycling event.
